Clive Christian Furniture can be commissioned in solid walnut, yew, oak, cherry and tulipwood in the Warm or Cool Luxury Clive Christian colour palette, and the Design House Style can be simplified or embellished to suit requirements, maintaining the design aesthetic and foundation of classical orders.

Since the company's inception in 1978, Clive Christian has embraced environmentally friendly production practices and proudly stands at the forefront of sustainability in manufacture under the Clive Christian guiding principle that 'our environment is our children's environment.

In - house production in north of England allows full control of manufacture, from purchase of raw materials through to all aspects of production powered by biomass renewable energy.

A series of workshops with apprenticeship programmes implement and sustain 300-years-old skill sets, including veneering, joinery, carving and marquetry, enabling the Clive Christian Design House to personalise each project and bring connectivity throughout the home.

Clive Christian Furniture is handmade using the finest natural material from managed recources.
The cabinate interior of cabinets with door and drawers is high quality birch veneer and this is standard cabinet interior option. however you do have the option of upgrading the cabinet interior.
By choosing the veneer option the cabinet will be manufactured from a straight grain veneer board and finished to match one of our standard finishes. Also note that in the case of yew furniture the cabinet interior would be manufactured from cherry veneered wood.
A number of cabinets have the option to choose a feature veneer interior and these are, generally speaking, open and glaze dressers
Dove-tailed, soft-closing drawers are individually carved with Clive Christian signiture as a reassuring acknowledgement of quality and athenticity.
Every order is supplied with antique brass or antique nickel Clive Christian Lions Head handles as standard.

The Clive Christian Design House was founded over thirty years ago in cheshire and Clive was the first designer to put chandeliers into kitchens which labelled the company as "eccentric" in the 1990s.

Now this is the signiture of Clive Christian kitchen and the design house has been credited with revolationising the way society views 'the heart of the home' not merely a functional work space, but instead a perfect accompaniment to the ultimate luxury lifestyle.

Clive's own philosophy when designing is to "Design it first - to be the absolute best is can be - then cost it " so that the end result is always focused on the clients vision not budget. The philosophy of Clive Christian Design House is to create rooms both timeless and luxurious, inspired by periods of great British architecture and to partner with the finest in current technology. A series of workshops with apprenticeships programs implement 300 year old skill sets including veneering, joinery, carving and marquetry enabling the Clive Christian Design House to peronalise each project with monograms or coat of arms - the most unusual request to date being the image of a familys beloved West Highland White terrier whose face was carefully worked into the entire project in detail marquetry.

Classic Clive Christian Victorian Kitchen - the most famous kitchen in the world - which is instantly recognised by its large island and traditional mantel with carved corbels in painted cream and gold leaf. This is in fact the kitchen chosen by Rod Stewart and Shania Twain and is a design classic.

However the showroom has recently been refurbished to present the newest Clive Christian Design Style - The Achitectural Collection.

The Architectural Design Style is designed for the larger luxury property due to the enhanced details and grand scale - the Architectural kitchen in Ivory and British Antique grey glaze and Black Oak is installed in the Clive Christian Nottingham.

Where many projects may start in the kitchen the client soon becomes aware of how the room gracefully establishes itself in the property. The client then seeks to extend the Clive Christian Designs throughout the whole home, starting with the butler's pantry through to the dining room and study, upstairs to the bedrooms and of course with matching his and hers dressing rooms. Clive Christian's ability to address these requests enables the client to create a real sense of hormony throughout the home whilst also founding a sensible investment.

Environmental Statement:
Since its inception in 1978 Clive Christian has embraced environmentally-friendly production practices and proudly stands at the forefront of sustainability in manufacture under the Chairman's guiding principle that "our environment is our children's environment".
Our in-house workshops allow full control of manufacture from purchase of raw materials through to all aspects of production powered by biomass renewable energy.
Due to our international clientele we adhere to every advancement in policy considered to inflict minimal or no harm on the environment in the creation of

every piece of Clive Christian Furniture.

Construction All Clive Christian timber suppliers have 3rd party accredited and audited 'chain of custody' for 5 forest certification schemes. This means that all Clive Christian timber comes from managed sustainable forests.

Finishing
All Clive Christian furniture is finished using both water and spirit based stains and lacquers. Volatile organic compound emissions are carefully controlled and monitored by the local government offices. Finishing equipment includes an infrared curing oven that reduces the the VOC emissions to a minimum during the drying process and the lacquer line uses water based lacquer in the most efficient manner that includes the re-use of any waste lacquer.

Recycling All Clive Christian furniture is packaged in bio-degradable cardboard. Waste products are recycled by using them to fuel the factory's heating system. This system is environmentally friendly as it uses a sophisticated filtering system to prevent the carbon footprint as very little oil and gas is used and waste products no longer fill landfill sites.
